The Department has its own dedicated library located in the department building. The library houses course and reference text books, magazines and articles related to Mechatronics and Control Engineering. The departmental library has been granted a budget of 86,400/- for the year 20-21 for the purchase of new books. The library has a collection of around 1173 individual titles of textbooks and handbooks, about 400 MSc and BSc research project theses, and a collection of magazines. The library is also linked with the university’s central digital database to provide easier access to the students. Although the department library does not loan the books to the students, it provides a comforting environment for the student to study and consult the required books.

In addition, the department library and the faculty associated with it coordinates with the National Library of Engineering Sciences (the central library of the university) for the selection of the appropriate engineering books, periodicals and other related materials on the basis of anticipated user need and expressed faculty requests.

In summary, the collection of books at the NLES, and the department library can be considered sufficient for the Mechatronics & Control Engineering program.
